Mr. Nigel Rossiter

Mr Nigel Rossiter is a highly experienced Trauma Orthopaedic Surgeon, having served in the British Army from 1985 to 2003. He trained across the UK, USA, and Russia, and has extensive expertise in trauma systems and orthopaedic care. He chaired the trustees of the Primary Trauma Care Foundation, founded a hospital charity linking his hospital with one in Uganda, and sits on the G4 Alliance strategic board advocating for global trauma care with the UN, WHO, and other agencies. Mr Rossiter also contributed to international consensus panels on VTE prevention in orthopaedics, served on a NICE committee, and advises multiple medical organizations. He was founding president of the Orthopaedic Trauma Society and led the creation of the South Central Trauma System & Networks, while serving as Clinical Lead for Trauma & Major Incidents and Clinical Director at Basingstoke & North Hampshire Hospital from 2002 to 2020.
