Major haemorrhage and REBOA Simulation
with Benji Watkins & Mr Ankur Thapar

You will learn how to recognise the signs of exsanguinating haemorrhage, and then contextualise this within a prehospital case study.
We will explore the physiological changes that occur in the bleeding trauma patient, and how to target your resuscitation to address these.
We will explore how to manage a patient with penetrating chest trauma, covering both initial management and relevant surgical procedures
You will learn about the latest developments in the management of haemorrhage, including REBOA and the evidence for prehospital blood products
